Installed in April 2024 at Kanel Pharma, Rawat, this project features 172 Longi HiMO6 solar panels
(580W) with a 115kW Huawei inverter. Covering comprehensive design, procurement, electrical, and
mechanical installation, the system significantly reduces operational costs, ensures a reliable
energy supply, and boosts sustainability practices within pharmaceutical manufacturing.
Overview & Challenge
A solar photovoltaic system converts sunlight into electricity and can supply power year-round when sized correctly. The core components are PV panels, a mounting structure, batteries for storage, interconnecting cables, a charge controller to manage charging, and an inverter that delivers AC power for standard appliances. During the day, the panels generate electricity to run loads and charge the batteries; stored energy then keeps things running after sunset or during outages. With proper placement and design, a solar system reduces grid dependence and provides steady, clean power.
