150kW On-Grid Solar System installed in July 2021 at Cross Wear, Sialkot, this 150kW on-grid solar system features 278 JA Solar
modules of 545W each and three 50kW Sungrow inverters. The project provides robust electrical
consultancy and installation, significantly reducing the factory’s reliance on grid electricity while
cutting operational costs and improving sustainability practices
Overview & Challenge
A solar photovoltaic system converts sunlight into electricity and can supply power year-round when sized correctly. The core components are PV panels, a mounting structure, batteries for storage, interconnecting cables, a charge controller to manage charging, and an inverter that delivers AC power for standard appliances. During the day, the panels generate electricity to run loads and charge the batteries; stored energy then keeps things running after sunset or during outages. With proper placement and design, a solar system reduces grid dependence and provides steady, clean power.
